termrork Posted September 26, 2016 This might become a speedrun with the most people participating. Demo recording is enabled and will be uploaded. DooM2 in UV and NM. Be sure not to miss it! original post: http://forums.zdaemon.org/viewtopic.php?p=276890#276890 On Friday DooM II will have its 22nd anniversary. This has to be celebrated with a big party! Therefore we need every marine we can get, from a casual gamer to speedrunner veterans. The goal is to play through DooM2 in Ultra-Violence from Entryway to the Icon of Sin. This is a warm up for the ultimate challenge which awaits us after DooM2 on UV is beaten, namely, everything again but this time on Nightmare! This will be done on a 1.09 server which allows everybody of us to record demos which will be distributed after the event. Mark this Saturday and let's have a great evening! Azuruish Posted September 26, 2016 termrork said:Skill: 3 & 4 //UV & Nightmare! Really? As i know 4 & 5 are UV & Nightmare, not 3 & 4 Or in Zdaemon only four difficulties? 0 Share this post Link to post
Ancalagon Posted September 27, 2016 In zandro and zdaemon difficulties go from 0 to 4 cause reasons. 0 Share this post Link to post
Memfis Posted September 27, 2016 Nice to see this again, I should be able to come. :) Yeah, so time to place your bets... How many attempts on maps 11, 17, 29? 0 Share this post Link to post

I guess you are thinking about nightmare, then my guess is: 5, 20, 25 Yes I am usually optimistic ;). I think the number of attempts highly depends on how many speedrunners of this forum will attend. 0 Share this post Link to post

Krawa Posted October 2, 2016 We started with Survival... ...and ended with Deathmatch: Demos from the session with playlists can be downloaded here: 2016-10-01_ZDS474_Demos.zip 0 Share this post Link to post
Memfis Posted October 2, 2016 Cool session. Map11 was harder than I remembered. On Map17 I learned a lot of new stuff, like how to avoid triggering the cacos in various areas. Then Map29 surprisingly didn't take that long due to JC's awesome efforts. The deathmatch part was funny. :) I've never used pistol so much before! 0 Share this post Link to post
