You look me in the eye and fucking tell me right in my face it's overrated right now. Don't have the balls, now, do you? :) Despite it being WAY too short which would (normally) knock off a star, an extreme replay value, tons of music, and a different feel than normal Doom more than make up for this shortcoming. The weapons and extras are a nice touch to add to that 'old-school' 2D shooter feel, even though it's still (of course) still in 3D. 5 out of 5. --prdarkfox

This was literally the first ZDooM WAD file I ever played. I used to play JDooM and I decided to download ZDooM to play this and see what all they hype was about. I must say it is probably one of the most awesome and well put together WADs I have ever seen to date. ^_^;

An epic title that I still enjoy to this day. 5/5.

This wad is amazing from an artistic point of view. Loads of awesome graphics and amazing new scripting. But this would never qualify as a commercial release. It is way too hard and frustrating. Gameplay is very unfair. Heck, I died a zillion times on the practice skill! 4 stars --- Starburst.

I also feel this is overrated. Given how many technical hurdles were overcome, it's rather disappointing that the levels do not play all that well. 4/5

This ia a wad with interesting aspects. There's a count of a "score" on the screen, but I couldn't make out, what it was good for. The ambience is quite impressive. It all started very interesing; however, in the first map, in a place which was surrounded by bomb throwing machinery, I got stuck. The way back was cut and I didn't find a way to proceed. This shouldn't occur in Doom maps, regardless of all originality. 1/5 -Milian

Amazing wad

you know, there are many bonus levels. while playing the game, type in the idclev cheat code, and put numbers 06 to 29, and you will warp to extra stages. I think that those extra stages are just leftover levels from the beta stages of Action Doom.
