Cramped but pretty. Thankfully this is decent in lms, maybe some maps in dm as well.

If this level was a wristwatch, it'd be a platinum Rolex. Kudos to the author for a great megawad.

Only jealous hat3rs dis this WAD. Any f00l that knocks it more than 5 still uses a joystick to play Doom. Sorry kids, this set is why you can rate a WAD legendary.

Though some maps might lack in gameplay, the levels are absolutely beautiful. Beats the gotic series hands down. There are a lot of excellent concepts within the maps, and this being a megawad I have to give it a five. -hobo

Just take GothicDM/2/99, add more detail and you have this. Most of the levels are nothing more than squares or circles with a lot of detail, making them fairly unmemorable. However, this is worth checking out just because of Map05 and Map28, both of which look absolutely gorgeous and are also conceptually extremely cool. Map29 and 30 also deserve recognition for being much larger than a typical DM map. 4/5

This is true deathmatch and the very soul of gothic deathmatch maps. Good on you developers, taking your time to produce the best maps for Doom. Better than MW3 and Black Ops 2 if i had to sum it up in one word I'd say "Fuck" - 5/5

it's a very impressive wad by all means. Design is great and the maps are varied. Some of the maps plays great while others are not very intresting. But I am sure there's something for everyone in this megawad of DM maps. 4/5 - Kristus

This WAD looks great and shows that a lot of effort has been put into it, but there is little variety in the gameplay and style of the maps, which become bland after playing through them and experiencing the same theme over and over again. 3/5

Meh, it's a mixed bag. Some good maps, some overdetailed, laggy maps. I liked a few maps but I wouldn't play DM alot in these maps.

If I had to shortlist a set of wads that sum up the history of doom mods, crucified dreams could stand alone to sum up the whole gothic series, in my opinion. Not just great to look at but fun to play, which is more than can be said for some of the other megawads ;)

Overrated It has the same problem as Gothic99, awesome detail but shitty gameplay, i don't know why people love this wad and hate Gothic99 when both WADs are the same shit

Great WAD, solidly nails that fantasy castle crawling feeling, not too rough on the player nor overly stingy/generous on supplies, encourages good use of items, plenty of navigation and switch puzzles as is apt for Heretic, but also lets loose with a little slaughter.   Some areas could use slightly brighter lighting, and sometimes the next switch or door isn't signalled too well, but overall a fun and feisty fantasy fight fest.

These levels are short, sweet, and pack a lot of punch. Complete with a humorous end-text-screen containing a healthy dose of silly shock-humor, this is a masterful triumph of Heretic map-making, and most certainly a must-play wad.

A really frantic and fun DM map with pretty neat stuff like invisible pillar in the middle of the arena, doesn't have anything to do with the title but the level can become a BFG spamming fest soon, especially with bots. Less fun in SP but the arch-ville+bunch of nazi combo is a nice feat.

Only six enemies (played on UV) and no working exit. Other than that, it is a pretty detailed map for 1995. I enjoyed the general design and the poisonous vats of acid. Very cool, but not practical for good gameplay.   EDIT: Just discovered this is a ideally a DM wad… haha, for that purpose, it seems good. My original rating was 2/5, will change it now.
