Average map with some good quirks like the spaceship at the end. But yeah, a bit too hard in some places.

I may be wrong, but it seems that you are not supposed to engage demons and archvile in the very beginning of the map. Pressing the switch right off the bat is a very bad move. There is an alternate way that is hidden. You should find it yourself. I managed to locate it after a couple of tries.

Really, rating a level only one star because of such thing is weird unless you are a troll.

Some of the rooms looked kinda OK, some of them looked uninspired and boring. It felt like two different designers were working on the map. It wasn't that terrible, there are way worse maps than this.

 

The reason for the 1 star, is I don't think that it is beatable without cheats. Not on Ultra-Violence at least. I couldn't do anything in the first room, because as soon as I switched the door, dozens of demons came out of a room, and the Arch-Vile could kill me easily, because the player cannot hide from the Arch-Vile.

 

If you are putting Arch-Viles in a map, make sure that the player can hide from them, or otherwise it's going to be awkward.

      A good techbase map! I really like the overall architecture such as the big pit with chalk full of monsters of varying heights and the spectre arena fight. Its also includes a lot of fun gimmicks, very impresive for 96' (crushers, invisible walls, multiple buttons that activate platforms and the likes). I enjoyed playing through this map...especially during that spectre arena fight, I had fun with that part. Maybe one improvement would be to include more proper textures in order to fit the overall feel of the map and maybe some slights improvements on the architecture and maybe more monsters is needed because of the high ammo placed all over the map but overall, I enjoyed it! :)

      Another one of the early maps from Wraith, is a nice "Techbase" style map but unluckily have unaligned sector textures and a weird mix of metal and lava without too much lava, but this mix actually works. Monsters are used in a clever way, I liked the puzzle too, even if it's easy to break if you understand the trickery.   Overall, nice map, it's playable only on zdoom-compatible ports.

      A set of crude mixed bag of 9 maps from January of 1996 from shit(Map01) to pretty good(Map03). Grant it these maps are a bit on the easy side with a bit too much health & ammo but the large monster count makes up for it :)   3.5/5

      A bit dark at first, don't go blowing the barrels in your face, the maps were getting better as I follow the episode. I remember getting lost in e2m7 (my favourite).
