About This File

A 3 level hub (including hub level) that is just downright awesome. :) Lots of fog to.

Fun short Hexen hub from a guy who also contribute to Hexen's official Death Kings of the Dark Citadel expansion 😈

This wad is perfectly engineered - no glitches or issues encountered - found it slightly dull in parts, mainly due to the slight lack of variation of textures, and there isn't really much of a puzzle involved, either. Still, not bad! 4 stars.

Very goodlooking. But I got stuck after opening the door for the first key. I HATE PUZZLES. 4/5 for to be fair. There might be ppl who actually likes puzzle solving. I am not one of those people. But its a good map by all standards.

The fact that the author of this PWAD also contributed to Deathkings should tell you something. These aren't the greatest levels ever, but they are good, and in places nice-looking. The main gripes are that it's rather short and doesn't have a strong ending, and it's possible to mess up the pushable wall in the mines in a such a way that you can't progress (I recommend walking against the block instead of running.)

pretty straightforward little hub. ran through it in about 30 minutes. Good fun for a few minutes, but it's pretty easy and over rather quickly.

Wolfen: Good hub, but too easy.

very good design. although a bit on the short side, it kinda left me wanting more, but it still is very professonal looking. aside from one little mess up in the mine level with a moveable block that won't push all the way its supposed to. i had to use a noclipping cheat to get by it but other than that this is a well done piece of work.

Pretty nice hexen wad you got here, the detail is decent and there are some challenges here and there. Yes it's a little short but who cares? I give this a 4/5 would of been 5/5 but that extra point was taken off for being a short wad.

Great WAD, solidly nails that fantasy castle crawling feeling, not too rough on the player nor overly stingy/generous on supplies, encourages good use of items, plenty of navigation and switch puzzles as is apt for Heretic, but also lets loose with a little slaughter.   Some areas could use slightly brighter lighting, and sometimes the next switch or door isn't signalled too well, but overall a fun and feisty fantasy fight fest.

These levels are short, sweet, and pack a lot of punch. Complete with a humorous end-text-screen containing a healthy dose of silly shock-humor, this is a masterful triumph of Heretic map-making, and most certainly a must-play wad.

A really frantic and fun DM map with pretty neat stuff like invisible pillar in the middle of the arena, doesn't have anything to do with the title but the level can become a BFG spamming fest soon, especially with bots. Less fun in SP but the arch-ville+bunch of nazi combo is a nice feat.

Only six enemies (played on UV) and no working exit. Other than that, it is a pretty detailed map for 1995. I enjoyed the general design and the poisonous vats of acid. Very cool, but not practical for good gameplay.   EDIT: Just discovered this is a ideally a DM wad… haha, for that purpose, it seems good. My original rating was 2/5, will change it now.

Lots of traps and monster closets. Some switches are activated by shooting but there's nothing to really tell you about this because they look the same as other switches.   Texturing is good and enemy placement proved rather difficult at times. There aren't may health pickups on UV so it was a fight to get through.
