About This File

Requires Doom 1.6 or above.

This is the STRANGEST wad ever made. Most of the action takes place in a cube 8192x8192x8192 in size.. A two-year production with more new graphics than any other PWAD in the known galaxy. Built using monomolecular technology in DEU! (Grid size 4:1 is still too small [sigh])

Utterly brilliant. I'd give this more than five starts, but curse those rating limitations!

To play most simply with a port: extract files from skymaybe.exe using winrar. Execute the command line deusf -app _smb417.wad (with doom.wad present). Then load _smb417.wad and blessed.deh as normal in the vanilla-compatible port of your choice. If you don't use deusf, the game will run, but some sprites won't be right. Anyway, this wad is weird of course, but resolutely refuses to be dismissed as a piece of crap, despite extreme efforts by some to have this happen.

This baby falls into the so crappy it's awesome category. It works in Skulltag, no problem. Thanks for making it!

Given that this level is hideous and unplayable, I can't help but wonder why I find it so damn fun. Maybe it's because the whole thing is so fucked up. Anyway, 5/5

Very interesting and entertaining, far more so than many out there. The trolly nature of the guns and enemies is awesome once you get used to it. By spamming shots with gun 6, you can cause the sound to cut out in Zandronum, even the MIDI. There are also some strange blood decal side effects. This is worth checking out.

i actually liked it! 4 stars... I cant believe even with iddqd, the monsters STILL kills... The lost souls and the pink baron fires... omg... the impact from direct hits from a rocket launcher is weaker than a mis-aimed shot

A masterpiece in disguise, and a true example on how to make a Jokewad, unlike all those Terrydrones who keep rehashing the same shitty rape jokes.

a work of genius that will have you laughing all the way through should you learn to not take it seriously. please remember its a JOKE wad, and if treated more than such will result in anger and disappointment that is completely unnecessary to have whilst experiencing this wad.

THIS IS THE COOLEST THING EVER!!! Well, that's an overstatement but this is still awesome. It may look like it was made by an utter batshit maniac, and it may be hard as hell, but this is still amazingly innovative. The monster patches, the graphics, the whole toy chest concept...there's no words for something as amazingly cool as this.

Great WAD, solidly nails that fantasy castle crawling feeling, not too rough on the player nor overly stingy/generous on supplies, encourages good use of items, plenty of navigation and switch puzzles as is apt for Heretic, but also lets loose with a little slaughter.   Some areas could use slightly brighter lighting, and sometimes the next switch or door isn't signalled too well, but overall a fun and feisty fantasy fight fest.

These levels are short, sweet, and pack a lot of punch. Complete with a humorous end-text-screen containing a healthy dose of silly shock-humor, this is a masterful triumph of Heretic map-making, and most certainly a must-play wad.

A really frantic and fun DM map with pretty neat stuff like invisible pillar in the middle of the arena, doesn't have anything to do with the title but the level can become a BFG spamming fest soon, especially with bots. Less fun in SP but the arch-ville+bunch of nazi combo is a nice feat.

Only six enemies (played on UV) and no working exit. Other than that, it is a pretty detailed map for 1995. I enjoyed the general design and the poisonous vats of acid. Very cool, but not practical for good gameplay.   EDIT: Just discovered this is a ideally a DM wad… haha, for that purpose, it seems good. My original rating was 2/5, will change it now.

Lots of traps and monster closets. Some switches are activated by shooting but there's nothing to really tell you about this because they look the same as other switches.   Texturing is good and enemy placement proved rather difficult at times. There aren't may health pickups on UV so it was a fight to get through.
