Hey man! I'm so stoked to hear that this is your favourite map of all time. I just happened to come across this post by pure chance (I haven't posted on this forum for well over a decade!) I'm also 29, so it turns out I made the map when I was only 12 years old. Anyway, thank you so much for the kind words. Feels good knowing something I made so long ago has brought joy to somebody :)

Nah I've actually got sick of 1024 maps :P Just look at Dac14 from last year.

Hmm I havent mapped anything for like about a year. Maybe I should try another level. Hmm.

Bad news: I'm sorry to say that due to lack of interest and time, I'm going to be taking a break from Doom and leaving the community for a while. School and music has taken up a lot of my time lately. I may be gone for a long time, may not be so long. Only time will tell. ;) Good news: Agent Spork has agreed to take over the project, so any maps should be sent to him at 'agentspork at gmail dot com.' The project is in his hands now, he can change rules, make new rules, etc. Thanks, and farewell for now.

That should be fine, although you're better off making an entirely new level.

Ok new rule: -Maximum number of wads you can enter is 3. If you've made more than this just select 3 to use in the contest.

I usually listen to loud rock music when I try to get some sleep. :P I often have trouble sleeping, and when I take the music off I find it harder.

Haha, London Calling is a brilliant song.

If you can get a map too look great using as little sectors as possible, then I'd call that a good map. In my opinion maps that look good and have less detail are better looking and more well designed.
