Superb map. The detail was outstanding, along with the layout, and some of the effects were outstanding. Well done. 5/5 -Tango

Best looking map ever. Skill settings feel kinda like UV all of them? =) I even managed to die on skill 2. 5 stars nontheless.

Nothing really strikes my attention beside the extremely kick ass texturing and level design job. Other than that, it just seemed too, normal. This isn't how I am going to rate this wad though, I will rate it based on how good it was with what it has, not what I thought it could have had. Therefore it gets a 5 easily.

Excellent work. I'd hold off on a judgement since I'm not yet sure whether it deserves 5, 6 or 7 stars, but this thing won't allow more than 5. Boom-compatible too. Thank you, Fredrik.

Not as memorable as the second one. Not nearly. Still awesome.

What's there to say? A map so big it feels like an episode, and hard enough to challenge even skilled players. This one is the truest of classics. 5/5

Ok, here's the deal. Yes, the map is very well detailed and has outstanding flow. The sheer size of the map alone can make your jaw drop. Asthetically appealing, yes. However, having played this in coop I can tell you that it is the most frustrating map I've played in a long time. There's not nearly enough ammo for coop which is a shame. This gets a 4/5 for this reason. Otherwise, a great contribution.

the new textures were not as cool, but the fact that there were only 3 keys to find. the game play is that of the gods. Walter the internet god(notice the lower-case "g") loves it. as mentioned the laser maze sucked, but other than that it rocked. 4/5

same veins as the 2nd opus, although the SSG comes far too late so the start is rather boring. 4.5/5 - PerOxyd

As with the prior Vrack's, this level kick a$$!!! You have my permission to marry my daughter Fredrik. A bit hard in places it's fun nontheless. One question though, why haven't the game creators snatched you up to design levels for the new breed of games?

The worst of the three. Doesn't have much to do with the previous in terms of gameplay. Making a monster-packed map tight on ammo and health crippled gameplay. Detail is still there but the same textures for the third time are boring. Switch hunting and puzzles dodn't help. Stay away if you liked V1 and V2. V2 is still best. 3/5 - Belial

The VRack series is something that has yet to be imitated by any one author, let alone a group, and no matter how many other high-definition wads come along nothing will gain over these master-pieces that have come to stay in my wad folder for over 2 years. Bravo, Fredrik. -Helten

Great WAD, solidly nails that fantasy castle crawling feeling, not too rough on the player nor overly stingy/generous on supplies, encourages good use of items, plenty of navigation and switch puzzles as is apt for Heretic, but also lets loose with a little slaughter.   Some areas could use slightly brighter lighting, and sometimes the next switch or door isn't signalled too well, but overall a fun and feisty fantasy fight fest.

These levels are short, sweet, and pack a lot of punch. Complete with a humorous end-text-screen containing a healthy dose of silly shock-humor, this is a masterful triumph of Heretic map-making, and most certainly a must-play wad.

A really frantic and fun DM map with pretty neat stuff like invisible pillar in the middle of the arena, doesn't have anything to do with the title but the level can become a BFG spamming fest soon, especially with bots. Less fun in SP but the arch-ville+bunch of nazi combo is a nice feat.

Only six enemies (played on UV) and no working exit. Other than that, it is a pretty detailed map for 1995. I enjoyed the general design and the poisonous vats of acid. Very cool, but not practical for good gameplay.   EDIT: Just discovered this is a ideally a DM wad… haha, for that purpose, it seems good. My original rating was 2/5, will change it now.

Lots of traps and monster closets. Some switches are activated by shooting but there's nothing to really tell you about this because they look the same as other switches.   Texturing is good and enemy placement proved rather difficult at times. There aren't may health pickups on UV so it was a fight to get through.
