very decent set of maps from Eternal, using the Icarus resources. most of it is pretty switchhunty though, so it may not suit the tastes of some.

Well, the initial maps are not that good. Garish textures are combined with easy gameplay. This contrasts with good layouting and gradient lighting. Second half of the WAD picks up: difficulty becomes decent and the maps present a more pleasant visuals, combined with even more interesting layouts. Architecture is kept at even angles in a rectangular style, but is interesting. Some of the switch hunts though are darn nasty. The garden one in the last map in particular.

A nice flashback to the Icarus past with fresh maps kept in the original (now) minimal style. I have to say, I never expected to see an Icarus sequel coming, but it was a nice experience! Recommended for classic wad fans.

Highly competent levels in a classic style that ramp up in difficulty and complexity at a reasonable pace. I'm either at the stage where "I've seen it all" or these levels genuinely lacked a special something that elevates them into excellence, but I wasn't overly enthralled at any point. -Phobus

A fun idea, a fun execution, and even more fun gameplay. Wonderful. A must play.

Great WAD, solidly nails that fantasy castle crawling feeling, not too rough on the player nor overly stingy/generous on supplies, encourages good use of items, plenty of navigation and switch puzzles as is apt for Heretic, but also lets loose with a little slaughter.   Some areas could use slightly brighter lighting, and sometimes the next switch or door isn't signalled too well, but overall a fun and feisty fantasy fight fest.

These levels are short, sweet, and pack a lot of punch. Complete with a humorous end-text-screen containing a healthy dose of silly shock-humor, this is a masterful triumph of Heretic map-making, and most certainly a must-play wad.

A really frantic and fun DM map with pretty neat stuff like invisible pillar in the middle of the arena, doesn't have anything to do with the title but the level can become a BFG spamming fest soon, especially with bots. Less fun in SP but the arch-ville+bunch of nazi combo is a nice feat.
