Had a blast with Vicarious Reality - I really liked the concept of pistol-starting simulations with different takes on the gameplay. Cool texture themes have you exploring bright and colorful techbases with some kind of focused gimmick mixed with traditional gameplay elements. It's a quick playthrough of only 6 maps, which was good for passing an evening. There's some cool ideas on display that would be a shame to spoil here, but the differences in what made each map special helped to keep things refreshing.

A warning for new players; every map has some kind of death exit, and a couple of times I did happen to break it in some way. One time I was killed by teleporting onto an exploding barrel, which killed me but didn't push the player dummy past the exit line. If all else fails you can always skip to the next map with the IDCLEVXX cheat.
