Get Phobo Posted June 27, 2020 5 minutes ago, boris said: Unlikely that it will be changed. It's a rather useless check anyway, since additional texture you'll never see don't matter. Well, no, it's a needed texture. Removing it will create a HOM. The check procedure is wrong. 0 Share this post Link to post
Dravencour Posted September 19, 2020 OK, what is going on with my toolbars and how do I fix them? This is what my Curve toolbar thing currently looks like. As you can plainly see, the toolbar isn't acting like it's supposed to, and it should be acting more on the order of this from GZDOOM Builder. I don't know what caused this or how I'm supposed to fix it, but it would be nice to be able to use the tools properly again (this is happening with other tools as well). 0 Share this post Link to post
Dravencour Posted September 19, 2020 The new update ended up reverting the changes of the last update because apparently they noticed the tools weren't working right. Carry on... 0 Share this post Link to post
hawkwind Posted September 21, 2020 (edited) I'd like to refer you all to this https://github.com/jewalky/UltimateDoomBuilder/issues/469 The questions are, Does either mine or biwa's method have any negative aspects to them ? Will both or either work just fine ? By reading, you will notice that this just applies to mp,not coop, not dm. This issue has since been fixed and can now be ignored. CBM Posted November 2, 2020 (edited) yay! it seems the latest ultimate doom builder is able to work on laptops that has both intel and AMD graphics now! I am now running v.3.0.0.3649 (601d741) on a Lenovo E560 without issues, for the first time ever! 2 Share this post Link to post
E.M. Posted August 14, 2021 Every time I try to compile Ultimate Doom Builder, I get this error: Quote /usr/lib/mono/msbuild/Current/bin/Microsoft.Common.CurrentVersion.targets(2218,5): error MSB3248: Parameter "AssemblyFiles" has invalid value "/usr/lib/mono/4.7.2-api/mscorlib.dll". It is not your system, it is Mono. It ships its own package for this with '.dll' at the end. So System.Reflection.Metadata.dll. I would try with Mono 5.0. Doesn't Manjaro provide newer versions than 4.7? That is pretty old. 0 Share this post Link to post

NokturnuS Posted September 13, 2021 Hi there, don't know if its me but since last update the adjust brightness to surfaces in the sector editing section is grayed. And can't set the lightceilling / lightfloor property in the UDMF tag. 0 Share this post Link to post
boris Posted September 13, 2021 Ooops. The way this issue was worded I wrongly assumed EE doesn't support distinct brightnesses at all. But it supports it for floor/ceiling, just not for walls. Fixed in the repository. 1 Share this post Link to post
Naarok0fkor Posted September 13, 2021 It would be nice to have the option to rotate wall textures like floors & ceilings. I have a lot of trouble with Thing placement. The Z axis doesn't always work well. It would be nice to affect individual thing's statistics like HPs & speed. 0 Share this post Link to post
boris Posted September 13, 2021 What your asking for is nothing the map editor can influence. If the engine you're using doesn't have those features the map editor can not simply add them. 0 Share this post Link to post
