  1. At the end of the day, all this boils down to; if you don't like what the current DSDA version changed you have following options: 1. Realize that DSDA is a free software made completely in the developers free time to be a tool for the community and they are in no way, shape or form obligated to make changes that a loud minority wants, trying to force that only makes you seem like you feel you're entitled to it. 2. Simply use an older version that has the feature that you miss or use a different port entirely. Even if this is the best/most used port, that doesn't mean it should try to cater to every single niche group of people. 3. Develop your own port that has all the features you want and need, or if you lack the required knowledge, pay someone to do it.
  2. IDgames: Here 1 Agile Altercation is the sequel to 1 Fast Fight, that was released earlier this year, there's two major differences this time though; 90 Minutes of mapping time instead of the previous 60 minutes. There's a full 32 new maps this time around. This time there have also been a wider selection of people to participated in mapping; @Meowgi, @Master Medi, @Spendoragon, @Petyan, @Phoenyx and myself. As the nature of many speedmaps, there might be an oddity here and there, in either texture placement or otherwise mapping choice, but all the maps are very playable and I hope you all will enjoy your time, if you decide to spend your time playing this wad. As mentioned in the title, this is currently RC1, which means there might be bugs or issues, hopefully nothing detrimental to the experience, but if nothing big is found I plan on sending on to IDgames next week, if something big is found it might delay it a bit, but I do believe I caught most issues before posting here :) I've tried to order maps in somewhat order of difficulty, but alas it's not perfect. Now on IDgames Here! The dehacked is the same shenanigans as last time; Map/Music List; Here's some nice screenshots!

  11. Maribo - copied from Meowgi's post after merging: 1 Fast Fight or 1ff.wad is 12 maps in boom format/cl9, made by @TheLoneliness (with guest maps by @Master Medi & @Spendoragon). This wad features significantly modified monster behavior including halved(?) move frames for all enemies as well as half health values. Short and sweet maps that are ripe for running in multiple categories! Doomworld thread idgames DSDA page aka 1ff // 1ff.wad // one fast fight 1 Fast Fight Map07 Pacifist in 10:00 1f07p1000.zip Very slow, not very steady. @Napsalm you should do it next :-)

    1 Fast Fight - 12 Speed Maps (Boom/Cl9)

the idgames version has been updated!
  13. It's already on IDGAMES; https://www.doomworld.com/idgames/levels/doom2/Ports/0-9/1ff Edit 3: It's finally updated :) 1 Fast Fight or 1ff.wad is 12 maps in boom format/cl9, made over the course of December, I orignally got the idea for the set during the NaNo wad month, but didn't start until after said event was already finished. Primary testing was done by @Master Medi, @Spendoragon, @dashiefrickintyan, @Petyan & @Bdubzzz The maps are generally small and fast paced and are placed in the slots 1-10 by myself, with Map 31 done by @Master Medi & Map 32 done by @Spendoragon. As the nature of speedmaps, There was a time limit of 1 hour on each map, so there might be some odd texture thing here and there, but the set is comepletely playable, if a bit hard at some points, hope you'll enjoy these bite sized adventures! Also tried to do a twist on how to make the fights more fast paced, without using only low tier enemies or giving the BFG to the player; Music used; Here's some of those screenshots that people do enjoy; It's already on IDGAMES; https://www.doomworld.com/idgames/levels/doom2/Ports/0-9/1ff Edit: DeHacked spoiler
