I created this wad in two days. I was inspired by Mock 2: The Speed of Stupid

I switched the weapon sprites too. I recommend you have the jump keybinded because some staircases just plain suck.

Okay, so it's just as I suspected:

 

Another low effort, unfunny wad that's supposed to be funny because it's bad.

 

-We are greeted by an unfunny titlepic representative of the experience: not funny, but irritating enough.

 

-Picking an easy difficulty spawns dozens of mancubi in the starting area, and that's just hilarious. And don't tell me "but I told you not to pick easy!", because if you didn't want me to, you wouldn't have said anything. So you ruined your own potential for a (lame) joke already.

 

-No custom music. I don't want to hear D_RUNNIN ever again, and you knew that but chose to assault me anyway.

 

-Maps are modular, simplistic, and contain no detail whatsoever. Map04 is possibly the lamest map ever in terms of effort: a long, long, long, straight "highway" filled with copied and pasted imps and lost souls. You walk in a straight line until the map ends. No effort is even attempted.

 

-The sprite replacements are inconsequential, save for the plasma rifle replacement which is nonsensical and isn't centered properly.

 

There's nothing funny about a bad map. And the whole self-flagellation fetish that surrounds maps like this is pathetic. If you really think your map is that bad, have some respect for all parties involved and keep it.

 

The fact that you tell players "keybind jump because some staircases suck" is telling. Why not just fix the staircases?

Well, I did play it on easy--it's not that hard if you can grab the inverted monochrome sphere in the archvile room, and the archies helped jump me up over the clusterfuck of mancubi.  Turns out there's no other maps that are different on easy.  Also @Biodegradable I guess you could've telefragged the cybie using the kind of weirdly implemented teleporter at the beginning of MAP05 ;3

 

Well, anyway it's unfunny and not fun to play, I'm not sure what else you expected anyone to say about it

I laughed at this wad. Well I laughed at @Biodegradable playing this wad. But that is more or less the same thing.

 

-gets a pistol and 50 rounds to fight the obligatory final boss cyberdemon. And nothing else.

Ohh, I see, I though you actually played in that resolution.

 

There is a "take screenshot" key in the controls option screen you can set to any button you like, I personally set it to ;

I'm gonna be real with you, knowledge is unavailable to those unwilling to learn or put effort in.

 

Nobody will make the best joke or the magnum opus in their first shot, don't be discouraged by the happenings in this thread, however nobody is going to be funny or good at anything if they can't be arsed to at least try, even the greatest shitposts take an effort to accomplish.

 

So if you want to make good shit or just straight up shitpost and joke (not judging, I like a good bit of shitposting) with the stuff you make, then go and try to make it, you aren't gonna get in trouble for making garbage by accident, you'll improve.

 

However, shitting out low effort garbage is frowned upon and people aren't going to tolerate it and you'll never improve.

 

The choice is yours really, I ain't your boss, bother or don't it is up to you.
