  3. Pretty Hate Marine: Starfuckers Inc.

A small base level. This map doesn't follow the "rules" of ep1 mapping, so don't expect a true ep1-ish level. This has one hard to find secret. This is the 2nd part of Pretty Hate Marine.

  5. RRWARD04.WAD

This is a replacement for E1M8, and boy is it tough! It's a fairly simple map, but is chock full of monsters. Lots of monsters. More monsters than a body should ever have to kill. This map was originally part of a full DOOM1 Episode, but not all the maps worked out very well so I scrapped the project and am releasing the maps that did work. Enjoy!

  6. PANIC!.WAD

Well, here it is... This is an improved version of a level which I made The first version had some bugs and this is way better! (and bigger, about 700 vertices!) A lot of blood sweat and tears went into this level (especially since I did it during final exams)

I like my levels HARD! There are many nasty bits in this level, ie. watch your ass and save often. Since it is the second level of the episode, I expect that people will come into the level with some ammo and weapons (you may find it hard to warp straight into (I don't)). If you play this level and like it, let me know by E-mail

ENOUGH BLABBING!! Play the frigging level!!

  7. Prower's Gate to Hell

This level is the follow-up to Prower's Military Base which should be available the same place you found this wad. Prower's Military Base won both the Wad of the Week award and the Wad of the Day award, and has received good comments from the DooMing public. Play PRWRBASE.WAD first, available in PRWRBASE.ZIP at the same place you got this WAD(usually).

  8. PANDORA'S BOX

This, my second level, was constructed around a few of the ideas I like in some of the original DOOM levels, namely: The roof top walk in E3M3. The ability to shoot to later areas across chasms in E1M7. The idea of teleports and switches to create a route to the exit room in E3M7. It is difficult with many early distractions. It can be completed in many ways, despite the number of switches which have to be set in order.

  9. PEEK.WAD

It's always been my theory that if you don't have at least one monster every ten square feet (relatively speaking), then there's not enough carnage! I stretched the limits of size (as far as DEU would let me) to come up with this highly acclaimed (by a couple of my friends) doom level.
No big story behind this one; just find the right keys, get into the main structure, and kill EVERYTHING!!!! all weapons available; and YES the cyberdemon is on the level (would it be worth it if he weren't?) I hope you like it.

  10. Pipes

Here is your chance to take a lovely tour of the subterranian sewer system that exists to fulfil all of Hell's waste disposal needs. But what is that coming out of the pipe?! I guess it is time to take out the trash! Mangle the monsters, clean the sewers out, explore horrific ventilation shafts and find the pipe that will bring you back to the surface.

For all of you thrill seekers out there, try ULTRAVIOLENCE... You will have a little trouble getting down the first pipe, but after that it will be smooth sailing, yea right!

A warning to anyone who thinks they are cool and anyone who downloads a wad file, then uses IDDT IDDQD and IDKFA and breezes through the wad. You will be pleasently surprized by this wad file. I put a few IDDT busters in there for all the cheaters of the world to be discouraged with.

Be warned. I am a crafty bastard. This Wad file is a bitch and there are many chances to die, so die and have fun doing so. There is a demo included It is the SECOND demo, so wait for it.

For all you network jocks out there...

This level was designed for CO-OP play. Deathmatch starts have been inserted, but Deathmatch sucks with this level. There is a great possibility that one or more players will get stuck someplace. And a greater possibility that any player will never see any of the other players. Go CO-OP for this one.

  13. RRWARD01.WAD (all the cool names were taken)

This is a _very_ large file, owing to the detail given to the level (lots of linedefs) and the shear size of the map. This map is designed primarily for single player games, but has multi-player starts, and an interesting consession for DeathMatch, though the map was not designed for DeathMatch. This map took over 150 "man-hours" to create, and outgrew both DEU 5.0 and DEU 5.1's memory allocation schemes. There are no "step wrong and die" traps - If you can get into an area (without cheating) you can get out. There are secrets, hidden doors and switches galore in this map.

This is a re-release with two minor fixes (linedef changes and one texture change). This file replaces the older RRWARD01.WAD and RRWARD01.ZIP.

My 15th UDoom map. Intro map for "...and hell came through" a base level. You know how they look. I wasted a lot of time working on this fucker, so I hope is not a boring one. = ) There are 2 ways to get to the end (kind of), you don't really have to go through the whole map to finish it....fucker.

  16. Pandora's Pox

I've had it sitting around since October, I figure I'm not doing anything more to it, I may as well post it to the public, or at least make beta testing available here on the New Doom forums. It is for the original Doom, multiple difficulties, death matches and co-ops. Death matches should actually be pretty fun for it, there's a frag fest in the center with a cat and mouse hunt around the arena :-)

    PANDORA'S BOX

    Synapse:

A facility built to hold the Demon inside of the Box. There is an arena built to hold the demon inside of the box. Everything is perfectly alright until creatures arrive to unlease the demon within the box. There are power failures which must be dealt with before the player can reach the arena where the box is held. Naturally the player accidentally releases the demon from its container.

With the box open, the player can either try to face what he has released, or run through a subterranian escape route to escape what was inside of the box.

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------

Its a complex around an arena, with Pandora's box in the center. There are power outtages and the player must open doors via control panels (panels not switches). The player unleashes what's in Pandora's box, and to top it off, the player must contend with those guarding Pandora and the two installations. Finally, with Pandora open, the player must find the way out of the arena back into the complex and escape. There are many tricks, traps, interesting things.

Takes me at least 13 minutes to get through and I know where everything is.

  21. Parthenon

Parthenon was originally a beautiful rendition of the structure of the same name in Greece, but HoM considerations reduced it to the vestige you see in the exact middle of the map. (For those interested, the original still exists, and if I ever find a way to use it, it will appear in it's entirety.)

What was hoped to be a challenging pwad for deathmatches grew into this sprawling series of hallways around a large courtyard with a few challenging outer rooms.

I'm still learning, so constructive criticism is appreciated.

BTW, as the editors continue to increase in utility, one has to look at wads completed when the editors were much more crude with a degree of wonder. Look at Megawatt, or one of the other 1993 wads and be amazed.

  22. REDROOM

Here is a nice one !

This map consists of 4 sections that I'm sure you will enjoy it.

    Users Guide:

At the beginning you will be in the first section which includes the big grey saloon, the patio and the metallic corridors. Then, the other sections are the Catacombs and the Sewer. The latest one is the Red room which contains the Blue key necessary to open the door and exit the game. Keep playing ! you finally will be at the Red room.

In the game you will pass close to the Red room, but you need the yellow key to enter in it. (there is not red key for the Red room).

I recommend that you enter into the Red room using the door inside the red corridor, not the door in front of the shiny metallic corridor. Press the switch and quickly leave this room from the same direction you came inside (if you are still alive), then go around thru the shiny hall and enter into the Red room thru the other door.

Into the Red room, for your protection from the Cyberdemon, there is a little bunker that you can hide and think. Close to the bunker you almost can see the Rocket Launcher and boxes of rockets, if the Cyber is not around (he is deaf), then leave the bunker and try to get this arsenal. Once you get this, isn't necessary to turn around looking for the Bunker, since a teleporter inside a little room in front of the rockets will send you back to the Bunker. Now that you got this arsenal, try to leave the bunker by the door that you came in, go around thru the shiny hall and attack the Cyber from the windows or from the other entrance. Don't get to close to these windows, he will fire at you! If you run out of rockets use the machine gun or the shotgun. If you are smart, he will die. By killing the Cyber will be easier to get the blue key.

Be ready to save your game many times in this section !

Please: Always Refer to the Red room with some respect, and write this name with capital R.

I included in this Zip file, good music from one of the Episodes of Doom.

These levels are short, sweet, and pack a lot of punch. Complete with a humorous end-text-screen containing a healthy dose of silly shock-humor, this is a masterful triumph of Heretic map-making, and most certainly a must-play wad.

A really frantic and fun DM map with pretty neat stuff like invisible pillar in the middle of the arena, doesn't have anything to do with the title but the level can become a BFG spamming fest soon, especially with bots. Less fun in SP but the arch-ville+bunch of nazi combo is a nice feat.

Only six enemies (played on UV) and no working exit. Other than that, it is a pretty detailed map for 1995. I enjoyed the general design and the poisonous vats of acid. Very cool, but not practical for good gameplay.   EDIT: Just discovered this is a ideally a DM wad… haha, for that purpose, it seems good. My original rating was 2/5, will change it now.

Lots of traps and monster closets. Some switches are activated by shooting but there's nothing to really tell you about this because they look the same as other switches.   Texturing is good and enemy placement proved rather difficult at times. There aren't may health pickups on UV so it was a fight to get through.

It's pretty good for 1994. If you don't mind having no health items at all (except in a few maps) and the outrageous amounts of cyberdemons per map, you should give it a try. It's pretty challenging and I like it. E2M3 is a bit 'eh...' though.
