About This File

The mastermind has perished at your hands, you have single-handedly fought your way through all of hell. Feeling like you're on top of the world you return to Command HQ, thinking you're ready for anything they can throw at you. They tell you to clear the demons out of Antarctic Bunker #54, seems easy enough. After all, you did just destroy hell itself. However, what you found in the bunker was an unspeakable evil, one far more powerful than demons themselves.

FEATURES: 32 Levels. New weapons to replace the old ones along with some extra weapons. Advanced ACS scripting. Cutscene driven storyline. Tons of new music Epic boss battles. And much more.

This and CXV has the best boss fights I've ever seen in a doom wad,

Bloodshedder, Grazza, Tito, Metalhead (Phase 2 mostly), Mr. Chris and CutManMike to name some of my favorites.

I must say that although it is a wad of terry, I would like to find a serious one like this, new enemies very interesting and original just for their attacks, bosses that have inspired me (and you can see it in my creations) and it is really amazing like this wad despite having their terry traps is entertaining and much better than many wads of 32 levels, if you want to have something interesting to play and different as long as you ignore the story is fun filled with very good boss fights, excellent music, this is an option although if you can not stand the terry traps just do not try it

5/5 to be a joke wad

This was great. Great joke wad and a great Terry trap collection.

Instead of the generic "Oh it's a well made map at first then BOOM" it's actually a well-made megawad that simply has them as little traps that can be avoided. It's able to be completed, seriously. That's new.

I especially love the final boss and highly suggest using a cheat against him. Trust me, do it, it'll be worth it.

An extremely well made MEGAWAD with difficult enemies, well designed maps, good animation, original midis created by one man alone in a garage, great decorate enemies that simply put SkullTag's monsters to shame, epic effects, well-scripted cutscenes that weren't even worth skipping, great voice acting and amazing gameplay.

PROS:

Map design was clearly done by an intellectual with OCD.

Voice Acting so great that it puts Hollywood to shame.

Lighting effects that make the latest Unreal Engine look like shit.

Cut-scenes that put some of the greatest, most epic movies to shame.

Great, addicting gameplay that makes Quake 3 Arena seem dull by comparison.

Amazing, well designed, original monsters.

Great music that is amazing compared to the PSX Doom OST.

CONS:

Didn't win a Cacoward.

Doesn't have a sequel.

Simply a ten out of ten review from me. This is like Alien Vendetta combined with the epic book, War and Peace.

Despite it being a terry wad... This is probably the best terry wad I have ever played. Did hell froze over?

Good stuff and congrats.

You know, i always hated terry traps. They are lame, with no effort, useless. A waste of time. But this, this entertained me more than any other "serious" wad. A bunch of amazing and well made maps, awesome and impressive effects, wacky yet catchy storyline, epic bullet hell like boss battles againt's mematic doom personalities, and the best is that this wad is a big fuck you to both the haters and the horribly bad terry wads.

Nice work!

This doesn't capture the spirit of UACMN, as the dialogue, the choice of enemies, the level design, and many other things are too different.

For a wad made in 1995 it's a pretty convincing church, I like how detailed it is, as well as the graveyard, too bad it is quite short because it's fun (Although I understand that, as a deathmatch level, making it too large can make it unfun to play). The exit gates are an awesome detail too. Definitely check it out 5/5 stars   - xX_Lol6_Xx

Upon the release of The Ultimate Midi Pack for Doom 1 that replaces all midi slots w/ original compositions, I thought to myself "Hell Yeah, now I have an excuse to play DTWiD!". Besides the shameless plug, I would recommend everyone to give that pack a listen and perhaps a spin w/ this wad b/c god damn does it go together like peanut butter and nutella.   Onto DTWiD: Well, the people behind this wad accomplished the goal of mimicking the style of John Romero, Sandy Petersen, and last but not least Tom Hall. Every level breathes like it was made by any of the three gentlemen, and god damn I had a blast w/ this one. While certainly not as hard as your Plutonia, Rowdy Rudy 1+2, Hell To Pay, or even Good Morning Phobos, it has its own moments where it doesn't pull its punches. However, one of my main gripes w/ this wad is that there's a lot of secrets to find if you're a completionist like I am, as some of them are a bit tricky to hunt down. The maps are way bigger than the OG John, Sandy, and Tom Hall levels, and while it's great to mesh some good fights here and there, it at times felt like a slog to go through b/c of the size of some of these maps. E1 was the weakest in terms of fights here, as expected that you won't be fighting anything tougher than hitscan, imps, and pinkies. While the design was great, I admittedly got lost a few times trying to get my bearings and know just where the hell I need to go. E2 was a bigger improvement upon E1, and had a few moments where it was spooky, like things are really beginning to hit the fan. E3 (which unironically in the OG UD was my least fav episode that I couldn't even bring myself to finish) was probably the best episode of the bunch, everything was oppressive and coming for you, luckily there was an abundance of ammo to help you out in messy situations, more traps and better set ups than what E2 had and a way better episode than E1. The secret levels of all 3 episodes are the highlight of the wad.   While I wouldn't say that this wad is a "must play" b/c over time I started to get a bit exhausted on the size of some of the levels and figuring out where I need to go, and especially since I binged E1, E2, and E3 3 days each respectively, I had my moments where I was like "Please God let this be over". Overall, I would say this is more of a wad that if you really wanna check out, go for it, or a good recommendation for people who are just beginning their journey of playing community wads and want something ez to play.

Blue broken rooms and ugly texturing, lots of HOMs, lots of monsters and no way to resemble any house of sort. Or to tribute The big Lebowsky movie at all. A very bad old style jokewad map, unfunny at all.

A medium sized map sets in a sort of church surrounded by burning men, graveyards and other type of stuff around. The level is simple but fun to play, both in SP and DM. Same simplicity reflects in the detailing work and fell.

A wooden and metal structure that also have some prisons, hidden locked doors as normal textures and everything here is brown, very brown. Overall a fun map with a fun gameplay and a spooky atmosphere, especially thanks to the music. Cool stuff.
