I have four PCs - I built three of them last year

 

Ryzen 5800X - 3060 Ti 32GB Windows 11 Gaming PC

Ryzen 5600G - RTX 2060 16GB Windows 11 Multimedia PC

Ryzen 4500 - GTX 1660 Ti 16GB Windows 11 Work Computer

Ryzen 1600 - 1050 Ti 16 GB Windows 10 Old Computer

Mine's a laptop from probably 2009 or 2010, so between 12 and 14 years old. Running Windows 7; as a fun fact, it had Windows 10 for a while, but it ended up pretty much killing itself trying to update and so we went back to 7.

 

It's the only computer I use, I do everything on it. For most of it, it still works like a charm for me, though I might soon replace it with a newer PC because I REALLY want to play the Dead Space remake. Rest assured, however, that I'm not letting go of this absolute unit.

This one I'm using? Barely two years old. The oldest PC I have is from 2007. It ran Windows Pissta and still does that startup jingle in Windows 10. I love this old lady even though she is painfully slow, but she works!

Laptop from 2011 500gbs 4gb memory Windows 8.1. Installed a 1tb hard drive, up to 8gb memory now. Windows 10. Runs great...so far. Did it 2 yrs ago.

Just a baby, less than 1 year old pre-built gaming pc. I played Cyberpunk 20whatever for like half an hour then mostly used it for Doom and recently Might and Magic 4, so really getting my monies worth ;)

 

My previous PC was one I built myself and kept upgrading until the only original part was the disc drive which was around 12 to 13 years old by that time. It was still OK, kind of a Millennium Falcon style thing, you had to bang on the side sometimes to un-stick some side fans and I never could get the Bluetooth or wi-fi to work but it still served me well.

My PC is from December 2011. It was back then:

In November 2015 I upgraded the GPU, RAM and got an SSD.

 

So it is since then:

Ca. 500 GB SSD

 

So I don't know if you can say my PC is 11 years old. The CPU is showing its age with many games and I think I will be out with the pure current gen games. Already Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order was running only with 45 fps, no more. I think I don't need to buy it's sequel in March.

 

In general I'm playing in the moment rather games from the 90's in 4K, which is fun. Currently playing Tomb Raider I from 1996. And I think it's better to play now some retro games, before I buy a new PC for a "normal" price.

My computer is originally from around the 2019-2020 new year, but I also had the misfortune of having what turned out to be a faulty CPU that needed replacement just a year later, which resulted in a few upgrades along the way as I replaced parts that didn't need replacing.  It's just as well, as now I rely on my personal computer for work, and having all those cores is really nice for ripping through a C++ compilation, plus having enough RAM to easily run both my work and personal Windows user accounts.

My computer is almost 9 years old.

It's a Dell Inspiron desktop with a 2.9 GHz Intel Core i5-4460S, 8 GiB of RAM, an almost-terabyte hard disk, and Intel HD Graphics 4600.

I have not upgraded any component of the computer, as I'm not really experienced with doing so.

Funny part is, that I need a new PC/CPU in order to play Doom. Elementalism: Phase 1 to be exactly. The performance was to low in the 3rd or 4th level.

Screen resolution is also 1366X768 Pixels.

 

First owner of the PC bought it in 2020. I bought it from her in 2022 as a second hand.

During my childhood in the 90's and early 2000's, I only ever dabbled with Windows 95 computers. 

 

It wasn't until Early 2011 when I formally transitioned into the current Mac Desktop computer I've using now (which at this point is 12 years and counting). 

 

My model iMac (21.5-inch) computer (whose processor is 3.2 GHz Intel Core i3 and memory is 8 GB 1333 MHz DDR3) is made in mid-2010, which is 13 years old, so yeah there you go.

Mine is 11 years, but I upgraded the graphics card to a Geforce GTX 1070 a few years ago and installed an SSD which should be enough for a few more years of life.

Despite its age it is still faster than the much more recent systems some of my friends are using.

My PC is like a Honda Civic- quite ugly visually, but built to last.

 

Ryzen 7 5800x, Radeon 5500 XT, and 16 gigs of RAM. Plays even the most visually demanding WADs in software with few hiccups. I built it myself, although it's still a bit of a shitbox visually. The art comes from within, no? ;^)

 

EDIT: My GPU is quite a fickle creature sometimes, but it's powerful enough.

My computer is very recent, but the previous one I had, I got it around 2019.

Mine's got an RTX 3050, Intel Core i5-10400 and 32GB of RAM. The old one had a GT 630, Intel Pentium G2130 and 8GB of RAM.

My new PC is just couple months old

RTX3060, intel i7, 16gb ram, and a harddrive with nice amount of storage 

But still can't run some big map in Gzdoom smoothly lol

 

The PC I just replaced is like from 2017 or 2018, GT1030, 16gb ram, cool but gpu to weak for my urge for heavy games

 

And my oldest laptop is from 2009

I forgot the specs but all I know is that it has only couple hundred mb of ram

 

Before this I don't play video game
