Sonic VS Green Hill Zone 3D is a game I made for RAGE 2018. A short 3D platformer TC where you guide Sonic as he discovers the dark secret behind Green Hill Zone. Every time you saw Green Hill, that wasn't nostalgia you felt... Controls are: Alt attack: Boost Attack: Roll Use: Respawn after death Jump: Jump Look: Rotate camera -
Not only is the wrong file posted here, but upon finding the actual one on idgames, it doesn't work on GZDoom like the file instructs, due to the following error: However, I saw a video of this project, and it's a great and funny playful jab at SEGA's tendencies to reuse assets in Sonic games. The short horror segment feels a bit unneeded. Due to these three factors, I'll have to truthfully rate this three stars. Not bad, but also not good. It's... meh.

8-Bit Sound. I wanted to call it NES Sound or something more accurate like that, but it's a small
TheMagicMushroomMan reviewed a file in sounds
Pretty cool on paper, and ingame it's still pretty cool. However, I personally wish that the author would have used less recognizable and stereotypical sounds. Being able to instantly recognize sounds from games like Mario and Sonic at The North Korea Olympic Games kind of cheapens the intended effect, because I have already heard all of these sound effects tens of thousands of times. Therefore, it gets a bit grating and ends up feeling like a cheesy gimmick and not something I'd actually want to use more than once, which sucks because there are certain wads that would work well in conjunction with this mod. -
This is my first review on this website. I know this is a very old WAD for Doom 2, but the fact that someone actually took the time to make a Partial Conversion of Doctor Who for Doom 2 is pretty impressive in my opinion. It also helps that this Doom wad took inspiration from the 4th Doctor Tom Baker who is one of my favorite Doctors (my main favorite being the 9th Christopher Eccleston. I always found it odd that the pistol replacement was the Sonic Screwdriver cause I've never seen it used as a weapon, but more as a tool, but I guess it works for this. I also loved hearing a rendition of the Doctor Who theme in the first level. I wish I knew who's theme it was supposed to be because it sounds really good. The enemy replacements are really creative too. Daleks replacing the Imps was brilliant. The only thing I kinda wished about this was that there were new levels. Again it's not a huge issue considering that probably around the time this came out it would have taken some time for new levels. I really don't think this wad gets the attention it deserves and is very overlooked. If you are a Doctor Who fan you should check it out. 10/10 from me.

Doomworld mega project is the kind of project that can be fun when you're a beginner mapper, but becomes totally useless when you become more experienced and have some consideration for your maps. This wad, like the others in the series, is a trash can for maps. It's a mixed collection of uninteresting maps, too conceptual maps typical of jokewad or more rarely good maps that have nothing to do with this kind of project (Antares and Yugiboy's map for instance). Do not consider making serious maps for this kind of project. It will be devalued very quickly. For fun, here are some quick comments on each map. Map 01 : Yeah, not a big fan, but it's playable. Map 02 : Cool layout , pretty difficult Map 03 : Cool map with the style of Ultimate Doom Map 04 : A much too long and nonsensical map Map 05 : A nice map with a good choice of music. Map 06 : Slaughtermap well buffered and quite absurd as it should be Map 07 : Forgettable hell map map 08 : Nice detailed cavern map Map 09 : Pretty nice concept with a cyberdemon Map 10 : Don't like it a lot Map 11 : Short old-school map map 12 : Ok concept map Map 13 : Can't remember a lot , pretty random map Map 14 : I liked the music , the layout was a bit confusing Map 15 : boring and D_Runnin Map 16 : Very cool brutal map Map 17 : Funny short map with a cyber Map 18 : Nice base Map 19 : Very hard , but nice Sunder-like map Map 20 : Boring and annoying , but nice aesthetics Map 21 : Really cool short brutal map , loved the water falls Map 22 : Very cool slaughterish map with the RL. Cool natural landscapes. Map 23 : Nice slaughtermap I played in Slaughtermax Map 24 : Very high conceptual map but fits perfectly with the project. Lot of creativity here. Map 25 : Very good and long maps but it has nothing here. Please release it as stand alone ! Map 26 : Very interesting theme but I hated the gameplay. Map 27 : Short and really fun. One of my favs. map 28 : Very good hell map but same remarks as map 25 , it has nothing to do in the project. Too well done. Map 29 : Quite fun and hard. Map 30 : Nice HUB lol Map 31 : Pretty nice. Map 32 : Very basic, but I liked it. Map 33 : Same as map 32 but with less health. Map 34 : Short and fun library Map 35 : Really cool details from a beginner map (I suppose). Map 36 : Fun map with crates Map 37 : Too cramped but pretty cool. Map 38 : Didn't find the BFG so I finished the map without killing the Cybies. Map 39 : Too Dark and Too cramped. Map 40 : Pretty fun Ultimate-Doom style map. Map 41 : Pretty fun but too dark near the end. Map 42 : Very cool tower and bridges. Map 43 : Messy office map but that's ok Map 44 : Boring map but cool forest. Map 45 : Very cool short beginner map. Map 46 : Didn't like it. Map 47 : Didn't like too. Map 48 : Very cool concept from sonic games. Loved the music. Map 49 : Meh Map 50 : I see nothing

quite possibly one of the best ZDoom megawads ever conceived, and I'm not even a sonic fan. one zone for two levels, each and every one has some unique gameplay themes, puzzles, secrets, etc. it's also very nice to see the jokes being cracked up every now and then. most of the target boss battles are a bit lame, but I like them anyways. the new monsters give a cool flavor. there are quite a few bugs, but I can work around them just fine.

You stand in a quaint little village. And it's very quiet. (Yes, too quiet.) Roam a bit, nothing seems to be amiss. But if you scratch the surface of this peaceful abode you will find the gutters crawling with all kinds of mutant life forms. Frankly, you don't care what they do as long as they stay below where they belong...but they just can't resist the instinct to come to the surface. -

Hey out there in computer-land This is a quality (I hope) graphics patch for Doom I or Doom II, it shouldn't jam your machine up, at least it didnt jam mine This is a COMPLETE patch, no cheezy drawings i made with Paint for Windows, I didnt do any of the art on this patch, actuall real-life-do-it-for-a-job type people did this, like the people from Sega in this case This patch will change the Imp's in Doom into Tails (That orange fox thing from Sonic 2) -

5 stars, especiallt for the author's 1st wad. One of the great megawads of 2003, the others are Scythe 1, Daudelus (TC/Megawad), Com. Chest 1, and HR2 (almost an 04 wad), but the great megawads from 04 still include Vile Flesh, Com. Chest 2, and Super Sonic Doom (TC/Megawad). From 05 (so far through 6/19) we have already seen two great ones, Kame Sutra and Scythe 2 (real shame Scythe 2 was released at only 29 levels, but it's fantastic anyway). Enjoy!
