Remilia Scarlet Posted June 30, 2003 Actually, if you wanted to include hip-hop, then I guess I'd definitely have to say Utada Hikaru. God, so f-ing hot... 0 Share this post Link to post
jute Posted June 30, 2003 i could never really get into arcturus very much. i prefer ulver by far. anyway, anything by busta rhymes is guaranteed gold. along with, of course nwa and the beastie boys. if you're looking for instrumental hip-hop, four tet is fucking awesome. 0 Share this post Link to post
insertwackynamehere Posted June 30, 2003 I like any music as long as the videos have scantily clad hot babes which have sexy voices, and since many rap videos have this, it's fine by me. 0 Share this post Link to post
Melfice Posted June 30, 2003 I hate rap period. I don't see how it can even be considered music. I hate country music too, but atleast it's beat and the actual music can have variety at times. 0 Share this post Link to post
SteelPH Posted June 30, 2003 Country's ok, imo. I can't stand rap, it has no accual music, just a drum beat repeated over and over. Metal(Any), classical, and some techno is what I prefer. :P 0 Share this post Link to post
Scabbed Angel Posted June 30, 2003 Rap-rock is the worst imo. It is an abomination. 'Nuff said 0 Share this post Link to post
Linguica Posted July 1, 2003 http://www.doomworld.com/linguica/playlist.htm As you can see, I enjoy that one rapper than raps about hos and money, I forget his name, you know the one I mean. 0 Share this post Link to post
DaJuice Posted July 1, 2003 If it's on the radio there is a good 99% chance that it sucks. Some good rap songs: Krayzie Bone - Heated Heavy Krayzie Bone - Mo Murder Bone Thugs - Mo Murder Three 6 Mafia - Mystic Stylez Three 6 Mafia - Tear Da Club Up 0 Share this post Link to post

Epyo Posted July 1, 2003 How about that rollout song, by uh, Lucacris. That's the only one I like. It's like Now tell me who's your housekeeper and what you keep in your house? What about diamonds and gold, is that what you keep in your mouth? What in the world is in that CASE, what you got in that CASE? Get up out my face, you couldn't relate, wait to take place at a similar pace So shake, shake it 0 Share this post Link to post

Colusio Posted July 1, 2003 My two favorites are Grandmaster Flash and the serious five with the message quote: Don't push me cause I'm close to the edge And that other hiphop classic the breaks from Kurtis Blow. But that's hiphop. So for rap, maybe the song that killed hiphop: Run DMC with it's like that Rap Artists I like: Krs One & Scott La Rock, ( it's a 9mm and goes bang ), missy Eliot, ice-T (I'm your pusher, great club song), Dirty Old Bastard, the beastie boys, Dr Dre 'there goes the neighbourhood' (strangely this one of the few I know of where the combination rap and beats are perfect) and dj Premier. Also worth mentioning are the last poets which are the pioneers of hiphop, nice lyrics "white man has a god complex" "Nigga are scared of the revolution" and a great song "the revolution will not be televised" Problem with rap is that the ones who create the music (Scott La Rock and dj Premier in the list), are hired by famous rappers, which leads to overkill. 0 Share this post Link to post
EllipsusD Posted July 1, 2003 My Bad by Rayvon. It's not really rap, but an... interresting song nonetheless. It's at least good for a few laughs. 0 Share this post Link to post
Hobo Posted July 1, 2003 I don't find rap very intriguing, I went through that phase :P 0 Share this post Link to post
Sephiroth Posted July 2, 2003 my brother love bone fags in harmony, listens to it a shit load. i use to like it, like when it was new and until i got sick of the songs. only reason little bro still does is cause his friends tell him to. If they like country he would do the same, and he is 18 not 13 0 Share this post Link to post
