I enjoy the taste of fancy drinks but I don't enjoy getting drunk at all. I don't understand the apparent uninhibited state that the buzz causes; I'm already uninhibited. If I drink I just fall asleep.

Is a thread like this really appropriate when there are minors that use this site? Not saying that minors don't know what drugs are, of course, I'm just saying it's kinda questionable from an ethical perspective.

What is this, a fucking porn site? America is so fucking squidgy (I can't think of a better word right now) about anything that touches on nastiness and I don't even think drugs and sex are quite viewed the same to be quite honest. Unless it's pedophilia or something else like that, adult subjects should largely be given free reign. There is something to be said about reveling too much in an activity though.

You can say the same thing about the contents of Doom itself. Many people, especially in countries like America, would not consider Doom to be appropriate for younger audiences. I think for a forum for a mature game, it's fair for mature topics to be discussed on it.

used to do a lot more - was a polysubstance addict (MDMA, 3-FPM, and 6-APB mainly) for a few years and a serotonin-syndrome-inducing overdose got me out of that cycle - but these days it's far less. also used kratom for several years for anxiety and joint pain but kicked that at the end of 2022 as well as it was controlling my life quite a bit, so i'm very stoked about that. being at a point in life where i can use totally by choice and not by a dependency is an extremely good feeling.

 

at this point it's occasional CBD for chillin' and sleepin', frequent caffeine for workin', and a dram of scotch every other night or so. usually do acid (or similar) every couple months to keep the noggin... fresh? novel? something like that. i find it does my spirit well and that's what counts as long as i keep healthy.

I tripped balls and made an album for fun that leaked onto napster and shit happened that was good. I still get paid for it. Acid probably wasn't real but I acted like it was. I also did weed for a year and take anti-depressants and mood stabilizers. I also have OCD meds.

I actually had the opportunity to smoke a joint once. I thought it was just some flavour of tobacco, so I refused. Glad I did, because I was the driver. But I didn't see anything funny with the passengers. Most of them went asleep (which was normal, since it was after a long day), one of them was talkative (which is okay, since that's what happens when you get relaxed anyway).

 

I'm thinking of continuing refusing if I'm ever offered a joint again, just to spite them. I'll continue being the driver just to get valid reasons to.

The reason I have never smoked weed is I find the smell absolutely fucking vile, even worse than cigarettes. It smells like burning rotten vegetable matter to me. Plus the whole "yeah inhaling any kind of smoke just isn't a good idea" thing.

 

Last time I had someone try to get me to smoke it was some rando at an outdoor band gig, whom I just watched disappear between some cars for about 30 seconds and come back (ie: took a piss and not washed his hands). Yeah, no thanks dude...

I've tried pretty much every drug there is, including very "hard" stuff. I don't really mess around with them anymore expect on rare occasion. Be careful with drugs, and don't get addicted

I'm kinda afraid of what most recreational drugs will do to me, though I know some of that might be pure fearmongering. I prefer to stay in a grounded, rational state as much as possible, and find it distressing to lose that. So no, I've never had any, even alcohol. I do have lots of different teas, though.

Oh, what a strange thread sincerely, but yeah I have done drugs. Before I was 20 I didn't experiment with anything really, not even alcohol or cigarettes, but I got prescribed with klonopin shortly after I was diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome on 2016 and suffered a bout of depression due to that. I eventually started taking more of it than what I was told and would end up feeling and acting really strange, but I have kinda learnt my lesson and now whenever I get a prescription I try to stay within the prescribed dosage. Prior to this experience, I had trouble understanding drug addicts but nowadays I'm actually on the other side of the spectrum where I don't understand how people raw dog reality.

What country do you live in if you don't mind asking? Not common for drugs to be prescribed for autism

I am from Argentina. I was prescribed Abilify by my psychiatrist back then, which I took for probably two months, but ended up quitting because I suffered from suicidal ideations while being under the influence of that particular med. Afterwards I switched professional and got prescribed Zoloft and Klonopin to help alleviate the heavily depressed state I was in, which was unlike anything I experienced before.

I used to take antipsychotics (idk which one exactly) but i stopped taking them because i dont want them giving me stupid side effects

I have test the HHC with a friend, it's more powerfull than the CBD but with the effects of THC, it is actually legal in France but not for a long time. It is a synthetical molecule, it is consider as a psychotropic and that's why it's gonna be rejected.
