11 SP & 4 DM maps for DooM2. 2.4 Mb when unzipped. Issue2 contains a few bug fixes. You need a registered version of DooM2 or Final Doom to play this. This wad is not exclusive to any source port and will run with v1.9. These maps are mainly small but 'ultra-violent' - you won't find many 'former humans' here!! Very challenging - be warned! The DM maps were never playtested so if they are crap, sorry! Map 31 is an unfished map by Malcolm Sailor which I have modified. SEND ME YOUR DEMO'S WIMPS!! -

Probably the shortest 32 level megawad in existence. Very few maps have more than 30-odd monsters and are fairly easy, even on UV, though there are some well deployed Revenants and Archviles which can cause the odd awkward moment. The best way to play it these days for a challenge would probably be with pistol starts or mods like Complex Doom or Hard Doom. The only way I could get map 22 to run properly was in PrBoom-Plus, using the Doom2 v1.9 compatibility setting (Complevel 2), by the way.

So simple it borders on primitive. However, the layouts and texturing are not quite random, it's playable and the levels are too short to become boring. For E3M8 you need pre-Ultimate Doom compat for the Cyber's death to end the level. Use "-complevel 2" in Prb+, "-gameversion 1.9" in Choco or plain old DOOM2.EXE v1.9 (yes, DOOM*2*, it's the same exec as DOOM v1.9 registered).

This patch will downgrade any legal and unmodified copy of DOOM II V1.7a to DOOM II V1.7. There are various DOOM2 upgrade patches from iD Software and a downgrade patch by FunDuke from V1.9 to V1.666; however, there is as yet no way to get plain V1.7 using these; this patch fixes that problem. This is a fantasy super-weapons patch for Doom2, featuring a complete set of awesome telekinetic weapons. The player's face in the status bar has been modified, and there are also some changes to the monsters, things and texts. New to this version (by Sparky): - updated the DeHackEd file to Patch Format 6 for use with Doom2 v1.9 - renamed the files to meet standard conventions and deleted the patch program (this version will not run with 'Plain Vanilla' Doom2). - fixed the nul sprites and sounds so that they worked correctly with the various Source Ports (the original version either crashed the Source Port, or the modified sprites were ignored and the weapons just appeared normally). -

GOOD GODS, another single/multi player doom2 wad. This one'll blow your socks off and mail 'em to mars. Poetic license (i am speaking crap). Doesn't matter... or does it? Who knows? (sings) who cares? for me? C'est La Vie. I love ELP. I think the L has the best solo songs tho. Who knows who i'm talking about? Oh well, if you don't know it doesn't matter. How's life? Good? Shitty? Just remember you'll end up where you are supposed to go, and when you get there you'll go "hmmmm, here i am". (i think i've been drinking a bit too much). Anyway, this wad is ok. The first level is straight-forward blasting, (something sadly lacking with most wads these days, well i think so anyway). The second is something like you've NEVER seen EVER EVER BEFORE. Ever. It ain't that great actually but i bet you can't do it with a mouse. If you can, mail me a demo, doesn't matter what version. You know what? I'm going to put a demo in. NO!! don't try to stop me, i've thought about it and my decision is FINAL! Probably only a demo of level one, maybe level two. It'll be v1.666, but it's real easy to change it so it'll work on v1.9 or whatever. Just read the DOOM specs. -

Good map. The author used less pronounced light variation to instead use sectors to make arched halls, and managed a pretty big level. Play felt more traditional than but not as challenging as the author's first map (hellhole, id=5997), as on my second try (I died earlier) I ended with a bucket-load of energy cells, some other ammo and over 100 health and armor, playing from scratch. It played fine with Doom2 v1.9. ~Chain Mail [3/5] (01/2009)

This set of wads contains new graphics, sprites, sound and music to create a Mortal Kombat in Doom2. I suggest you to play in Chosen One, but, if you're brave, play in MASTER (heh heh...) All the weapons were changed, and it can be a little difficult to play with the new weapons at the begining, but then you'll be fine. Requires Doom2 v1.9.
