After countless hours of hard work, the first hub of RTC-3057 is complete. We are very pleased with how it has turned out, and hope you will be too. The hub consists of 7 levels and takes place on the Federal Commonwealth of Earth's flagship, "The Enforcer". It is a mod for Doom2 using the powerful port of Zdoom. You probably already know this, so...Enjoy! -

Really sucks that people are giving bad ratings to this wad because it's "boring" or "too hard". All I can say is forget them. The whole point was to take doom a new direction and they succeeded beyond expectations. RTC-3057 steps away from the regular monster packed rooms with 90 cell packs and goes into a story driven gripping adventure filled with puzzles and surprises. It's a grand experience. - Martyrdom

Pretty good! I wish it was compadible with ZdoomGL though - tested the wad/mod with 75a and it totaly fowled up. It's becuase ZdoomGL doesn't support certain map features (Like the downhill textures: Zdoom renders them fine, but ZdoomGL can't because that feature has not been implemented.) I would LOVE this mod if it were more compadible with ZdoomGL, but alas, it suffers the same fate as the RTC-3001(?) mod.

Unlike its successor RTC-3057, this is a very old-school ZDoom wad, and features all the tiresome ZDoom cliches that we know and loathe (and that often appear in Mock 2)--particle fountains, overuse of the stock ZDoom ambient sounds, stealth monsters, garish red and blue colored lighting, etc. This is an OK map, but gameplay is damaged by the obnoxious stealth monsters. Surprisingly, it works perfectly in the latest ZDoom versions, including GZDoom, while RTC-3057 does not. --Woolie
