Liberation Posted October 31, 2021 Hello all, it's that time again! This year we have been busy working on the best 1k lines project yet. So, let's get down to business. We have 32 totally awesome vanilla compatible maps for you (+ 2 bonus maps), powered by a vanilla friendly version of Otex1.1. The episode themes this year, I feel are pretty interesting, unique and hopefully people will enjoy them. Final version is now on idgames. Download - https://www.doomworld.com/idgames/levels/doom2/megawads/1k3v1a Each episode has its own custom scenery, textures, ambient sounds and 1 new unique enemy. A selection of weapons have also been tweaked, a better pistol and shotgun, and a new assault rifle to replace the chaingun. Allowing the lower tier weapons to be more useful and fun. Bridgeburner56 Posted October 31, 2021 The 1000 lines series has been an absolute joy to work on. This is definitely the best of the three, the maps are a heap of fun to play. Bauul Posted October 31, 2021 It was fantastic both mapping for this, and playing through it! The novel episode themes, custom enemies and Dehacked work makes this one of the most memorable vanilla projects I've played in a long time.
