Mayan Reynolds | Now on Idgames

[Egg Boy]

 

Mayan Reynolds is a small vanilla compatible episode for Doom 2 featuring overgrown ruins and dank caves. The WAD was a speed-map project made over the course of a week. Difficulties are implemented. Mouselook, jumping, and crouching should be disabled if you're playing on a port with those features. If you are playing on Chocolate Doom, you can load the Dehacked normally, or use the "-dehlump" command to load it directly from inside the WAD. A full map list and more can be found in the text file.

 

NOTE: Some visuals will not appear as intended in hardware rendering. Software is recommended.

It was around here, the northeast area of the map.

Sorry, we tried to to reach out to Marvel for any comments on the chance on using the Deadpool license, but we couldn't receive any response. However, to compensate, we have decided to include billboards for Mint Mobile, as a part of the RREU (Ryan Reynold Expanded Universe).

Anything involving Ryan Reynolds and the colour green tends  to end badly. Naturally a demonic invasion makes perfect sense…..

These look really nice, especially for Vanilla, nice clean texture usage.

The MAP02 MIDI didn't have its tempo set which caused it to use whatever tempo the previous MIDI had set.  Oddly enough, this only happened in vanilla.  It's been resolved now :D

I had no idea bugs like that were even possible. Now I'm curious what other MIDI/MUS-related bugs exist in the version of DMX used in vanilla Doom...

I already know about the GUS instrument mappings bug, which is fixed by DMXGUS Gonna Give it to Ya.
