This is level 1 of a 4 level storyline episode. [It's too much work to make 9, so we decided to compress the story a bit!] STORY SO FAR: [Level 1--Contamination (invade1.wad)] Mars Base sent an urgent distress call after a new gateway opened up there. You had been sent on the battlecruiser INQUISITOR to combat this new INVASION... ...but not all had gone according to plan. The ship was attacked and boarded just as it entered orbit around Mars. You awakened from hypersleep to find your crewmates either mutated or dead. Your objective was clear: end the CONTAMINATION or die trying... You finally managed to eradicate all the evil hellspawn from the lower levels of the ship. But, just as you were about to proceed to THE UPPER DECKS, through a viewport, you spotted a huge alien space hulk approaching the INQUISITOR... [end of Level 1] [Level 2--The Upper Decks (invade2.wad)] You must now not only annihilate all intruders aboard the INQUISITOR, but somehow deal with the entire shipload of the alien hulk. [Please read INVPRO2.TXT before playing the level for the complete story] [Please read INVEPI2.TXT after completing the level] -

A 3 episode vanilla megawad for Doom 1 containing a total of 27 maps. Set on one of Jupiter's moons called Ganymede, this wad should provide a challenge for a wide variety of skill levels ranging from the humble newbie to veteran speedrunner. Each episode has it's own progression rather than the usual base -> hellbase -> hell. -

One level for 'advanced' Boom compatible ports. You need to have a BOOM compatible OpenGL port with support of hi-res textures in wads, tall patches and music in the OGG format. Currently there are only two ports which can handle this wad correctly: 1. GLBoom-Plus 2.5.0.5 or higher 2. GZDoom 1.3.13 Beta or higher Command line: glboom-plus -iwad doom2.wad -file hg.wad -complevel 9 gzdoom -iwad doom2.wad -file hg.wad Textures: American McGee's Alice, Deus Vult, Half-Life INTERPIC graphics: O.Fronk Sounds: Half-Life, Power Slave, Eternal III Music: American McGee's Alice Dehacked: Andrey "entryway" Budko -

One level for 'advanced' Boom compatible ports. Probably it is my vision of nuts.wad. It's easy to play and fun. You need to have modern computer (Core2Duo+ or similar) and good optimized port with support of hi-res textures in wads and music in OGG format. GLBoom-Plus 2.5.0.2+ is STRONGLY recommended. Do not use PrBoom-Plus 2.5.0.1 or earlier. "SkyBox" sky mode and "Fog Based" sector light mode (available in prboom+ 2.5.0.3.test) are recommended and do not forget to enable in-wad hi-res textures. (it's ON by default) WARNINGS: 1. (G)ZDoom has strange issue with speed. It's 1-2 fps when monsters are sleeping. After awakening it's more or less good, but still 4-20x slower than glboom-plus. 2. Eternity and Boom 2.02 have some issues with tall patches. 3. Classic PrBoom and PrBoom-Plus before 2.5.0.2 have no support for hi-res textures in wad - do not use it. MUSIC: NoMeansNo - "1985 - You Kill Me" - Long Days. Hope it will not be banned because of this 24 years old song. -

You need a registered version of Ultimate DooM to play this. 2.2 Mb when unzipped. This is a full, nine map DooM 1 episode incorporating the 5 previously released 'Spooky' maps plus 4 spanking brand new, neverseenbefore ones. If you've already played the spookies, then sorry but I have decided to release this wad purely for my own benefit. I wanted to sign off from DooM with some kind of accomplishment i.e. a complete episode for Doom 1....and this is it!! The new maps are e4m1, e4m7, e4m8 & e4m9 in case you don't want to play the spookies again. Each map is designed to be played from scratch. This wad will run with v1.9 and is not exclusive to any port. +++ SPECIAL NOTE FOR ZDOOM USERS +++ You must use the extension "-noflathack" in the command line, otherwise this wad will crash. -

Moonblood is a megawad (32 levels) for Doom 2. The Project has started with remastering the levels from my first wad, Eclipse, but the changes became quite big and I decided to turn it into Moonblood (it was initially called Revclipse, then after Reclipse). The levels were most inspired by early Scythe 1 levels, Jenesis, Mano Laikas and DTWID series. -

Issue 1 Although this is my second release, its the first wad that I completed to my satisfaction. Went back to it recently and added a few lighting effects. I also pinched the sky from "plutonia" to give a 'bright & breezy' feel. This level is 214kb when unzipped. (Issue 2) Many thanks to those who e-mailed me ref Issue 1. This issue has removed that terrible bug at the start (how annoying). I have also changed the sky - less garish than before. -

Great Doom 1 single map wad, for us strange Doom 1 people. Complex, non-liean design, entertaining ambushes sprinkled around keeping you on your toes, with balanced ammo, and not much health lying around. This is a very long map, however, (30-50 mins), and it can get a bit boring after a while, especially when it comes to the - otherwise neat, very heavy metal-ish - music. Do give it a try.

Requires Doom 1.6 or above. This is the STRANGEST wad ever made. Most of the action takes place in a cube 8192x8192x8192 in size.. A two-year production with more new graphics than any other PWAD in the known galaxy. Built using monomolecular technology in DEU! (Grid size 4:1 is still too small [sigh]) -

If you like running in circles against a demons horde, been blinded by shitty light usage and enjoy tutti-frutti effect on almost every walls present (really, i think i'll going to dream these texture schemes tonight), this is the map for you. Seeing this map must be a alpha version of another wad quoted in one of the older reviews, kinda throw me away the "Bill Gates anonymously testing the backrooms for Doom" joke, but eh, take it the same. 1 star, even with the decent outdoor area after the red key door. Of course this is a map that caught by the filename... who call a map Windows 7?

Nice, tight level design. E1M8 was an amazing puzzle map. It's surprisingly difficult for a Doom 1 WAD, but for wrong reasons: constant ambushes, monsters teleporting right behind you. Also, there is a serious lack of medikits. Fights with 5 % health and hitscanners all around are common. Still, it was quite fun.
